The last Security update stopped my Internet Sharing.
And I wonder why I have a feeling of dread everytime I approach updaters lately.
Be nice if we could undo installations like in Windows, this is still very clumsy in OSX.

hey that seems like a good function although I do not really trust the Windows function as it sometimes
leaves junk behind but I do see your point. Never (so far) had a problem with the updates but I suppose it depends on machine and set up...

It seems to me like some kind of design flaw when updating iChat requires a restart.

I second that. I guess we have been lucky.

...I'm now leery too. After that last update, I now want to wait 2+ weeks before applying updates. I normally wait about 3-4 days, but that appears to no longer be long enough.
Although I do hope that they fixed the issue with iCal where the email alerts are worthless. Don't know what I'm talking about? Try setting up an appointment adding a location, URL to mapquest directions, and some notes about the appointment. Set up an email alert, and when that email gets sent, there is no information about the appointment in it. It only tells you the title of the event, I don't even think it gives you the time.
Okay, I just checked, it gives you the date, title, and notes. No TIME, location, URL, attendees, etc. So it is still a big problem. I had to stop relying on it, when I got an email to my wireless, telling me I had a lunch appointment, but not telling me when, where, or who I was meeting.
FIX THIS APPLE!!!
