does anyone know if the sims 2 is going to be coming out on the mac anytime soon....

The Sims 2 has not yet formally been announced for the Mac, but Maxis has said in online chat interviews that a Mac version is planned. The Sims was a monster hit for Aspyr Media -- I find it very hard to believe they wouldn't do the sequel. My bet is that they're planning to announce it closer to the game's actual release on the Mac platform, rather than announcing it and then shipping it months later.
