I'm having problems accessing the Print & Fax module on the system preferences panel. In the top bar it says "Loading Print & Fax" but doesn't actually do anything. Been having this problem for two days now, just out of the blue, after working on this machine perfectly well for the last four months.
G5 Dual 1.8GHz / 1.5 GB RAM / OS 10.3.5
Any help would be appreciated.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but I just checked mine and it works perfectly fine. So I'll run through the "usual suspects" of things you might try. Repair permissions, especially if you haven't done so lately OR you have installed anything at all since the last time. Check out Cocktail or OnyX in VersionTracker or MacUpdate.com. Run their main suite (Pilot on Cocktail / Automate on OnyX) but you can omit Prebinding from both of them. That's an automatic thing in Panther.
Cocktail is $15 shareware, but I think you can use it 3 times before it requires a serial number. It's a bit simpler to use than OxyX, which is freeware.
