Technical book publisher O'Reilly on Tuesday revealed the winners of its second annual Mac OS X Innovators Contest, which was open to both hobbyists and professional developers. During this week's O'Reilly Mac OS X Conference, the company announced that the first place winner from the United States was Delicious Monster Software's barcode scanning application Delicious Library while the same prize in the International division went to Boinx Software's slideshow software FotoMagico. more

Whaa?! Why is that, when international folk can purchase ADC Select and Premier Developer subscriptions (albeit in USD only at the time of going to press)? Seems that the International winners came home with not much to show for the fruits of their labour vs. the American winners doesn't it?
I'm happy to stand corrected if anyone has more info on this,
