I recently purchased a Netgear wireless router and I had no trouble connecting it to my Windows XP computer. THe innernet is working fine and its broadcasting the signal perfectly; however I cannot get it working properly on my Powerbook. My Powerbook receives the signal and connects to the network, but applications such as iChat and Safari won't work. I've manually entered in the DNS and IP address, but I don't know If i'm forgetting to do somethign or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked the Firewall settings? Both on the router (unlikely if the PC works OK). But what about on your Mac, do you have a personal Firewall?

Also try manually entering the gateway IP. I have seen many times when connecting to a AP or router a machine get an IP from DHCP but for some reason not know the default gateway and therefore not be able to go anywhere.
