FastMac has released an internal, slot-loading SuperDrive compatible with all PowerBook G4 Titanium and Aluminum, PowerBook G3 Pismo and Lombard, iBook G4, Power Mac G4 Cube, iMac G3 slot-load and iMac G5 models. The DVD+/-RW drive burns and rewrites DVDs at 8x and 4x speeds, respectively, with the ability to burn CD-Rs at 24x, CD-RWs at 10x and DVD-RAM discs at 3x. It works with such software as iDVD, iTunes and Apple's Disc Burner, as well as Roxio's Toast Titanium and Popcorn. The price is US$229.95 or $299.95, depending on the Mac in which you want to install the drive. more
