I need to buy a portable digital projector, and I would like to have something super light, and I've seen the DLP projectors are 2 and 3 pounds vs. the LCD projector's 5-6 lbs. I need something that will work well in a school "cafetorium" that doesn't get very dark, and it should work with my iBook for Powerpoint and other digi presentations (lots of color!). I'm not sure of the most important specs, as nothing I've read explains the real world useage. For example, I have no idea if the DLP types are more delicate? Is there a risk using them? I can spend up to about $2300. Please, someone, I need advice! Thanks.
