Aspyr Media Inc. announced Thursday it's accepting pre-orders for The Sims Party Pack -- the four-in-one combination pack that includes the previously released game The Sims, as well as three expansion packs: The Sims Hot Date, The Sims House Party and The Sims Livin' Large, all in one collection. Due to ship on January 31, 2005, The Sims Party Pack will cost US$49.99. more

The Sims 2 is a huge engineering undertaking -- the number of lines of code in the new game is staggering. Aspyr will release it when it's ready, regardless of the minimal resources it took to repackage the four previously-released titles that go into this package.
