Doesn't anyone with a eMac use the 56k modem that came with it for the internet?
Someone?
Also any imac people or eMac people how well does it go at games? is it fast? or slow?
Thanks for the help.

So no one has had any 56k modems going out on them like the iMac people on there eMac?
I hope that's not a hardware bug or else apple's in it this time....i won't be happy to find that it can't be fixed via software....i have heard some where that some people have to use the 56k modem to go slower so they don't drop out from the net.....that's not good images/icons/frown.gif
Anyway good to know it play's game well......now i wait for the macworld review and what they think of everything about it....and Macworld New York 2002.
I can feel my next mac comeing! images/icons/shocked.gif images/icons/rolleyes.gif images/icons/tongue.gif

I can't speak for the eMacs - but I use the builtin one of my iMac FP all the time, nothing ever wrong with it.
And since the eMac is pretty much the same as an iMac on the inside - it runs games mighty fine. Granted I've only really tried the Quake3 demo - but running at 1024x768 and max everything - it was still getting well into the 50fps, and sitting around 40fps most the time.
Should be ample for just about any game out now (the only one really in question is Doom3)
