Does anyone know how to do this? I have an imac and an ibook connected via the airport and have been unsuccessful.
Also, does anyone know if I can share the printer, or do I have to unconnect and reconnect based on which one needs to print.?
Thanks....I am new to this, so I don't know how or where to go...

Carol, I am far from an expert on the Mac but I recently was able to file share between my wife's TiPB and my new iMac, using Airport Here is what should work if you're using OS X as I am. Turn on File Sharing on both computers, using System Preferences/Sharing and also turn on Apple Talk on both computers, using System Preferences/Network. Then from the Finder, click on GO and then 'Connect to Server' at the bottom of the pop-up menu. Resulting window should show Apple Talk in left column. Just click that and both of your computer's names should show in right hand column. Select the one you're not "on" and then click Connect at the bottom. A window should pop up asking for your name and password, then click Connect. In a few seconds an Icon for the other hard drive should pop up on your desktop and you're in business!Just double click that icon and you have full access to the other computer's 'stuff'. Hope this works for you.
Sorry I can't help with the printer question.
Good luck! images/icons/wink.gif
