HI,
I have OS X but I have a problem with the classic environment. I have "accidentlly" removed all the fonts from the classic environment in font book and dumped them into my user seciton of the font book with my other 800 fonts. However I have now realised the boot time to load all 800 fonts is too long so I have turned them off.....
This has resulted in classic using very basic square type fonts and I only have about 5 avalibable in programs like illustrator.

How do I reinstate the original font lists in both classic and OS X ?
Can I do it from the installation discs without messing up classic further ? I do not want to resintall the complete OS.
Any help would be appricated, Oh I have iBook G4 if its of any use and OS 10.3

If you have a drive or partition available, use your RESTORE CDs to reinstall Classic. But remember, you'll initialize the partition.
Otherwise, identify what fonts you need from the 800 and put them where they are usable. No need to make things difficult.
