Ok I have my Single copy of Tiger to be Loaded on my G4 tower (the one that STILL on Jaguar) the rest will stay with Panther for the time being.
Now Virex does not work with Tiger. So I thought I would try out another AV product. Its From Authentium (formerly Command Software Systems) They are going to update their Command AV for Mac within the next month for tiger compatibility. Has anyone tried this software? before I shell out $50 for it I want your opinions. They Gave me a 30 day key to try it out an I like it (under Jaguar that is)

I haven't tried it yet. So, please, tell us why you liked it. Does it interrupt or delay your work while it checks for viruses? Does it cause a noticable slowdown of your Mac? Did you try downloading a test virus to see what sort of alert it gives?Command AV for Mac... Has anyone tried this software? before I shell out $50 for it I want your opinions. Does the program actually clean an infected file and leave it usable, rather than just flag an infected file, leaving you with no options other than to trash the infected file?
Before you purchase any other anti-virus software, I recommend that you try Intego's VirusBarrier, which is exemplary in how it performs:

Here is a list of all of the anti-virus options for OS X:
VIREX (Not updated for Tiger yet. You can't purchase a single user copy direct from NA. You can get one with a .Mac subscription, but that will soon be discontinued.)

NORTON ANTI-VIRUS (I've heard of too many cases where NAV has had nasty software incompatibilities to be able to recommend this product.)

SOPHOS ANTI-VIRUS (An expensive product only sold as part of a site license for businesses. I understand that it will flag, but not disinfect, infected files.)

and

INTEGO VIRUS BARRIER X (This product, in my opinion, is the premier anti-viral software product for OS X. It runs seamlessly and extracts no performance penalty. Though the Intego site doesn't say so, I'm told that Virus Barrier also scans for thousands of the most common Windows viruses, especially those that arrive via e-mail.)

AUTHENTIUM ESP ANTIVIRUS FOR MAC OS X (Don't know anything about this one yet.)

CLAM ANTI-VIRUS (Free, open source. Doesn't scan for any Macintosh-only viruses, including OS 9 viruses that can infect Classic. Does not disinfect infected files.)
