Here we go again. I switched totally in Feb when I bought the PB. The easiest way to get almost a decade of email and attachments from Win to Mac was to use Thunderbird. That's fine and Thunderbird is good, but if and when I move over to Tiger, I will want to use the Apple Address Book and Spotlight. That means moving over to Mail.
I believe this is the no. 1 Mac message board in the world (after Apple self?) and I refuse to believe that all those gurus with decades of Apple experience have no clue. I have no clue, but then I bought my first Apple (second hand) less than a year ago and only gave up on Windows two months ago.
Come on guys, if I can figure out how to emigrate successfully, some of you must know how to settle in nicely.

This will probably work for the mailboxes, but I'm not sure about the address book. Then again, I haven't checked whether the new Mail has a Thunderbird import option.

Thanks d00d. I'll check this out when I'm home. Address Book is not important. It's all been in limbo since I got the Powerbook, so I can copy those over manually.
As you may or may not remember, I tried to import my mail into Mail.app and got all folders perfectly but only one message per folder. I hope this works better. I'll keep you (in case anyone is interested) posted.
