I recently came accross this article.
I thought I'd pass it along.

can't remember the name of it, dang memory..
didn't apple absorb (buy) a media player and turn it into iTunes?
also, wouldn't the suit be for ALL media players?
they use the word media like they own the word.
it will cost Apple, but i really don't think Apple will lose.
just mho

If you Google a bit, you'll track down the dude who filed the suit. He has a strong PC background. His dad worked for IBM.
The family has been in the keyboards biz for decades, selling mostly Yamaha stuff and PC software for musicians and wannabes.
The family/business websites make no mention ANYWHERE about developing software for anything -- much less including the patent in question in their family business timeline.
Sounds to me like Toshiba's patent for communicating directly to the brain electronically. You patent the concept. Do no development or experimentation. Wait for someone to sue.
