problem: I cannot connect to the internet through a wireless router, while i can connect to the internet with ethernet cable.
what i have:
Powerbook 15" 1.5 GHz OS X 10.4
DSL modem/ISP connection
Sony Vaio Wireless LAN Access Point: PCWA-A200
what is happening:
i happen to be able to locate and connect to the wireless router using DHCP. the airport can recieve signals from the router. on the router, 'Power', 'Ethernet' LEDs are on, and wireless is flashing, but i am not connected to the internet, just the router. so i tried to connect with PPPoE with airport. when i apply and try to connect, it tells me its looking for PPPoE hosts... and after a while, it tells me im not connected, neither to the router or internet.
can anyone help??? please.
