I am sure that this question has been asked and answered previously, but i couldn't locate it anywhere on the Apple Help site or on here.
Can I 'wipe" my ipod, that is delete all the songs on it and then reload it from my library?
I ask because I have presumably "permanently" deleted songs from my library only to have them reappear after the next sync with my ipod. I want to wipe my pod, clean up my library and then reload it back into the pod.

Yes, just run the latest iPod Software Updater and restore the iPod. This wipes the data off it.
