Airport stops iMac from Booting.

I installed the latest 2 airport updates on a iMac G3 400Mhz. OS X 10.4.? (3 I think) on reboot after installing, I get the Apple logo and the cicle spinning forever. I tired a reboot, let it sit for a long time. Is there anything I can do?
I am a novice to OS X, but do have computer knowlage in the Windows area. I can handle any instructions thrown my way.
