Setting up rules in Mail 2....

I have set up some rules in Mail that is suppose to place emails sent or recieved from a particular person into a specific folder, but I when I send emails it doesn't seem to work. I have to go to the mail preferences>rules, and select the rule and update it to get it to work.

Hi Common1,
I believe what you want to do is to make a Smart Mail Box. I suggest looking at Apple's Knowledge Base Document about Creating a Smart Mailbox. Just fill in the different conditions you want and you should see a new folder under Trash.
