Ipod mini battery problems.

Hi,
Having problems with my ipod mini.
When it's plugged into the mains the battery shows as full but as soon as it's unplugged this drops right down. There's no way of getting it to keep its power.
Ive tried all the help options on the apple web site but they dont work. This only started after the last update
Anybody got any ideas???

How old this iPod (battery)? My son's iPod battery lasted about a year a half and then I had to change it with a NewerTech battery (got the highest capacity I could find and it lasts longer than ever before).
If your iPod is still under warranty, I would have them take care of it before the warranty runs out.

Hey is it possible to replace the ipod mini battery?
