If a low price, long battery life, and a big, bright LCD are at the top your camera needs, the Casio EX-Z600 is an excellent fit. If this camera came with a more extensive software package and delivered higher image quality, it would be more enticing. more

One thing I've found with Casio Exilim cameras is that they use a funky version of JPEG that isn't compatible with inserting into Microsoft Office documents.
Have you tried do that with this particular camera (or other Casio Exilim cameras)? Last March I had a long conversation with Macnuke about this... and it turns out that in order to use Casio pics in Office documents you have to re-convert the file to JPEG using Tiger.
Might be worth it to give it a try to see if you can take a picture from iPhoto, made with the Casio camera you reviewed, and insert it into Word or PowerPoint.
