Any suggestions? I want a nice case that doesn't cost a fortune.

I don't know how much this helps, because you didn't say which type of case you want, but for a good sleeve case, I would suggest the one from www.sfbags.com . Then, you can stick the iBook in just about any bag. I have a laptop backpack from Tom Bihn which I recommend. Although they are expensive, they are very heavy duty, and hold my laptop and large books I have to take to class everyday.

Tom Bihn bags rule. I use the brain bag and the brain cell (formally lapdog) every day. They are specifically made for the iBook, and it has held up to the most harsh conditions here in San Francisco. It is kinda spendy, but you get what you pay for!!!!

its a bag that swings over your shoulder. you slide the laptop in. On this side is a zipper pouch so you can put accessories

There is no nicer case for the money ($40) than blank> this one.

It's REALLY nice.

I have to agree about the Waterfield bags (www.sfbags.com). Great quality, the people are super nice and the price isn't too bad. If you spend 2 grand on a 'book, might as well spend another $100 on a good bag to protect it. Enjoy your new ibook.

Not knowing what type of bag you are leaning towards, you will get all kinds of preferences. If you like like an over the shoulder messenger type bags, I found a good deal on the Ogio jack pack at Small Dog Electronics (www.smalldog.com). Holds my 14" like a glove and has room for everything else I can think of without being heavy or bulky. depends on what type of bag you are looking for.....

I ordered the bag at sfbags. I liked that one the most...really compact.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
