I have just played the demo from the original game, but can't seem to use my mouse at all. Is this possible? The camera angle and viewpoint get tedious after a while. Otherwise it's a fun and very amusing take on Star Wars.
Thanks.

Nope. The camera (the biggest problem of these games IMO) is pretty much cpu controlled, even on the consoles. I guess this was done to focus on the action and to keep you on a somewhat predetermined path, plus it makes some of the hidden goodies harder to spot.

I was a bit skeptic first but this is a very entertaining game, although I think you need a game pad as it can be a bit hard to configure (specially for 2 players at once). The one I bought for my son (the Plastation2 version) is really fun and "easy" to play (he is 5) and anybody can join on the whim, and I admit that I join the game while he is playing on a few occasions. There are also quite a few fun details inside the game...

Can we expect a release sometime in 2007? Part 1 was very popular.

Lego Star Wars II has not yet been formally announced for the Mac, though indications are that it will indeed be coming, undoubtedly sometime after the beginning of 2007.
