Yes. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Edit: Now that I think about it ...
Going to UB certainly doesn't help matters but Peter is right - Elements 4 for Mac came out much later than the Windows version. (And since it wasn't that long ago for the Mac version, I suspect it's going to be a while.)

For new releases of any speed-sensitive software (like image processing apps) the actual UBification will overshadow in importance the usual feature bloat that usually sells new versions. So you can make a marketing case for rushing a new version of Elements regardless of how recent the last update was.
(Yes I know this wont be the first or last marketing case that I have made that has been ignored by vendors).

I don't disagree with that but remember, you're talking about Adobe here. There was no "compatibility rush" to get PS 7 out so Photoshop would run natively in OSX. PS 7 was released per Adobe's normal 18 mo. upgrade cycle AND it included the usual upgrade fluff. (Some of which was excellent - it was a worthy upgrade in it's own right, IMO.)
Right or wrong, Adobe isn't going to rush out a new version with UB support and call it a day.
