Hi, I notice that Macbook does not have an inlet for microphones...does that mean I can use a bluetooth headset as a mic? I am considering buying a bluetooth headset for my bluetooth ver.2.0 phone. Does anyone have experience with having a bluetooth headset set to use with both a cell phone and the MacBook?
Thanks!

I believe the plug next to the head phone plug is an input for mic & such.

I have a Motorola Bluetooth headset that I paired up with my iMac, and it works well. I walk all over my condo and yack to my parents, using Skype. They are in South Africa, I am in Canada. Works very well, no delay, sound quality is very good.

Hi does anyone have experience with the Plantronics Voyager 855 Bluetooth headset and the latest MacBook?

It looks like a great headset, but the Plantronics site claims it is incompatible with OS X Leopard..

Any experiences?

Thanks!

1. What are you talking about, there's an input port - even if you have a different kind of jack on the end of your headset - there are LOTS of adapters out there.
2. Yes, it'll work - should be quite painless too :)
