I have to create a interactive catalog that will be distributed on a CD or DVD. The catalog must work seamlessly on a Mac and on Windows. I presume that I can build the catalog using a web authoring app like Dreamweaver, but I would like the CD (or DVD) to auto load on Windows and operate in a similar manner. Audio and video will also be used. I see that there are a number of apps that are for use with Windows; I hope there is one for the Mac.
Thanks

I intend to use Acrobat as well as use Dreamweaver or Go Live to construct the pages and allow for interactivity. What I am looking for is an Mac app that allows all of these elements to be brought together into one executable Windows startup (using auto load). I would think that a sort of runtime app would have to be employed to do this - just guessing as I am not that familar with Windows.

You can use Roxio Toast to set a specific file to "auto-launch" when the CD is inserted. Auto launching is a CD level feature, not an application specific feature.
