Which laptop would run Photoshop CS2 faster?
A PowerBook 1.67 GHZ G4 or a MacBook 2 GHZ Duo.
And what about games? It looks like the PowerBook
has better graphics with an actual ATI chip, but
I could be mistaken. Does the MacBook (Not the Pro)
use shared memory for the graphics?
Thanks for any help or advice.

The PowerBook will run Photoshop better.
The PowerBook wil also have slightly better gaming performance, but gaming on both is pretty marginal. If you intend to do much 3D gaming, the MacBook Pro is really the only way to go.

At the moment since photoshop is not Universal Binary (will be when CS3 is out) the PowerBook will edge out the MB. Additionally thanks to the intergrated graphics game performance will be lacking on the MB.
If you're looking for machine that can play games and run photoshop decent then the MacBook Pro may be better bet. While the PB may edge it out on photshop, that's temproray.

And the recent update to core duo 2 and Os X 10.4.8 has narrowed the edge in Photoshop as reported on Maccentral: Benchmarks: Rosetta apps bolstered by Os X update
A Macbook would definitely be more forward looking, and if you want only a portable able to do all, a pro will be more adequate (mainly for the graphic card).
Wanting a laptop to be a decent gaming machine is not trivial, unless your talking about quiet game.
You have to lay down cash to obtain this.
