Really helpful for envelopes. How about labels?
Has anyone persuaded Address Book to print single labels properly on a Dymo Labelprinter? It looks like it is all going smoothly, and looks fine on clicking 'Preview' in the print dialog - but then prints labels in 'portrait' rather than 'landscape' orientation.

Not so fast. Another problem: When printing a "Work" address (or return address), Address Book includes the spouse's name, but not the company name. Ridiculous.

All this angst about printing from Address Book! Thanks, MacWorld, for the article, but why waste the time with all that? I too have used Addressix, and it worked extremely well. But then I discovered the FREE Easy Envelopes widget by Ambrosia, which was mentioned earlier. Utilizing its smooth interface with Address Book, it takes me literally seconds to print an envelope. As for labels, I haven't tried it. Haven't had the need, really. But, in the past I've used MS Word's label printing feature for mass mailings. Not the best solution, but it worked for me.

"Mail Factory" has been renamed "Labels & Addresses" from http://www.belightso...es/overview.php
Using it just for the first time, but it appears a beautifully crafted program.
