Every time I try to partition the hard drive, I get the error:
ERROR: Your disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved.
Back up the disk and use the disk utility to format the disk as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) Volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using boot camp assistant again.
What does that mean?
What should I do?

What are you using to partition? How large is the drive? How much free space does it have? Is it already partitioned?
Can you give us at least a bit more detail to help troubleshoot?
thx;

Sorry, let me try this again...
What application are you using to try to partition the drive? Boot Camp? Disk Utility? Something else? I assume Boot Camp.
Is your drive already partitioned? I assume no. And you're saying that there's 14GB left, and you want to give 10GB of it to Windows? I think you're probably stuck then, assuming you're doing this in Boot Camp. That only leaves 4GB of free space to move around the files that need to be moved to create the partition -- and Boot Camp is telling you that it can't find that space.
You'll probably have to free up a bunch more space on the drive first, I think...

It's boot camp. Its not partitioned. It says in boot camp that there's 14 Gigs left but there is really 24 (Sorry for the confusion). And how would I move around the files?
