Just purchased a MacBook Pro2Duo. I purchased a PS2 controller and want to use it with my computer to play games. Was told I could buy a USB adapter to accomplish this. Unfortunately because I'm new to gaming I haven't been able to find information and/or where to buy. Can someone walk me through this ???

You just need to buy a USB -> PS2 adapter. Now all of them are labeled as PC compatible but just like most gamepads they don't need drivers and work great with the Mac. The only issue you might have is you don't get rumble.
I have bought many PS2, Gamecube and XBox adapters over the years as the build quality of the console pads is very solid and they often give you years of game play. Not to mention saving you buying two seperate pads.
Anyway on to the instructions, below you will find a link to Play-Asia and a PS2 adapter. I have not bought this specific adapter as the adapters are updated every few months (I have an older model somewhere) but I can say I have bought many items from this site and they are very reliable and trustworthy in all the dealings I have had with them.
PS2 <-> USB Adapter
Hope this is what you are looking for.
Cheers,
Edwin
