I subscribed to Verizon FiOS this January and have had problems ever since with the Actiontec broadband wireless router locking up every few days. The easiest way to make it lock up is to download movie trailers. http://www.apple.com...rdog/large.html will lock up the router in seconds. Video iChat conversations will lock up the router in a few minutes. The problem only occurs from my Macs whether connecting wirelessly or via ethernet. My Windows computers download videos with no apparent ill effects. I've had the Actiontec router swapped out twice, so it doesn't seem like a hardware problem.
Verizon customer service says it is a Mac problem. I haven't figured out how to contact Apple, yet.

Did you get any info on this yet / I have the same issue but all I am doing is using nfs between my mac and a file server on the other side of the actiontec. I had so many lock up issues that I moved the actiontec behind a firewall. So as soon as I copy 33.6 mb acrossed the actiontec via NFS it locks up.

The problem cleared up mysteriously last November (2007) but started again 6/29/2008. I get one or two lock ups every day now.
