I would like to use command line ffmpeg to encode DV movies for Apple TV. Anybody with working example command line?

Missing the brave new HD: 1080p of Blu-ray and HD-DVD standard at 1920 x 1080 pixels. A Shame!

Likely only a v 1.0 shame in my estimation....
Playing other formats not currently supported tho' may be more problematic given Apple's penchant for pushing its own solutions and preferred formats.
But we live in hope.....

I have 7 DTS 5.1 CD's (DTS 24 or 20 Bit / 5.1) that I've successfully converted and played on the AppleTV /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I couple of issue ensue though. I don't want these tracks to play through my normal iTunes as they are nothing but static (how to keep iTunes from playing them or syncing them to my iPod - Of course create a Smart Playlist to omit them). Also since I have the AppleTV plugged into the HDMI port of my TV I get the same static on the TV Speakers (must remember to turn the speakes down!).
Great find.
I believe that Apple will come through with HD Movies with 5.1 encoded eventually. I will not participate in the HD-DVD/BluRay format war, if Apple will allow me to sidestep the whole issue, so much the better.
