No idea about it. I suppose I'll be downloading it shortly (after backing up my image files first).

Been on the parallels forum.
Tons of problems, complaining and whining.
I'm thinking I may hold off upgrading, heck a lot of posts have people jumping ship over to vmware. It has me thinking to be honest. I may download vmware's fusion. Its still in beta but I'm curious to see how it stacks up against parallels.
For my needs I'd like a fast efficient environment. I'm not interested in games or even in coherence (I figure using that will put a drain on osx and/or effect osx's stability).
Parallels 2.5 was close to the mark but wasn't there. Memory leaks and stability issues were frustrating. For unknown reasons it would just crash on me randomly. I use it daily and it would go down maybe once or twice a week. I was hoping that 3.0 would be more stable doesn't look the case.

The new Fusion beta, released today, features their own version of coherence mode, so I'm not sure you'll be escaping that.

Well, it's not enabled in Parallels either, so that's a level playing ground. In my testing, Parallels was ahead of Fusion in usability and stability -- but I haven't compared 3.0 to the newest Fusion beta as of yet. Both are good solutions to the problem of running Windows on OS X, though as you've discovered, just how good seems to vary almost by person...

Now if only they'd deliver on their promise of supplying serial numbers for maintenance customers (of which I am one).
