Hi-
How many of you still retain a copy of IE 5.2 and why? I am seriously thinking of trashing mine, since it has been 'left in the dust' by the browsers I now use with OSX 10.4.10. Is there any real reason for hanging on to it? Thanks for your insights.

It's still there just in case. I have needed it once or twice in the three years since I switched. It doesn't take up too much space, so I'll let it live... just in case.

It's another browser to test mark up on. I remember having IE 4, 4.5 and 5 all installed at one point because each one displayed the same mark up differently.

If it still works on your machine just keep it around. Because once you trash it you probably can't find it to re-install.

I kept mine because it seems that a couple of years ago it would allow me access to a site that Safari wouldn't. I haven't used it in over a year. I think we should all agree to trash our copies of IE tonight at midnight.
