OK, to help give myself some desk space freedom I decided to set up Bootcamp on my MAC Pro and install XP and try out dual booting.
The partitioning goes ok. The Reboot and beginning install of XP goes great. The installer then reboots and I'm greeted with the XP welcome screen and the graphical installer does its thing. DLL files begin coping over etc...
Everything seems to be going great till the installer get to the point of "Installing devices". When it gets here the remaining time is at 33 minutes and it never changes from that spot.
I've left the machine run over night last night hoping that for some reason or another it needed time for the install. This morning when I awoke it was at the same stage and had the same amount of time remaining.
I redid the entire install process prior to leaving work today and left it again at the spot to come to work. I hope that it'll be further along when I get home but I'm thinking it may not be.
Anyone else encounter this or have any recommendations? I plan to try a different CD in the hopes that it may be the media but other than that I'm at a loss.

Just to make sure...you are using XP with SP2, right?

Yes that is correct. I ensured that was the case as well and even though the disc indicated it was SP2 I did a test install on an extra PC I have just to be on the safe side.
What I intend on trying next is to either try a different XP disc or make a copy of it and try different media.
