Cool, this may make life easier for me working from home. Peter, just to clarify, it looks like (according to the Microsoft page) the RDC beta also connects to XP Pro and Server 2003 as well.

Minor error in the article, MS states the following about the expiration date:
This Beta release expires on March 31, 2008.
<Not Dec 31, 2007>

Slightly off topic, but I hope the final release of Office 2008 for Mac is worth the wait. It's painfully slow to work with Office 2004 on my Intel Mac.

Additionally, the software can open Word Macro-enabled Documents (.docm)
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the role of Visual Basic within Office, but I thought macros were written in Visual Basic (which the MS Mac Business Unit are axing in Office for Mac 2008).
Does this mean they've cracked how to read / write visual basic after all, or is this only working because it's running on Rosetta-based versions of Office (in which case this beta will pack more functionality that their next Office outing, from this perspective at least)?
Yours,
Confused of Englandshire
