OK here's one thing I would really like, the ability to send SMS from the computer. It is one of the most used functions of my old Nokia along with 'Phone Director' where I can compose/read/archive SMS messages on my laptop.
The ability to set rules, spam filtering and the ability to multi delete emails is my number one request though. I get about 20 spam messages an hour which normally go straight in the junk folder on my MBP but I have to painstakingly delete them one by one on the iPhone. The emails are tagged as possible spam by my server so it would be so easy to set a rule... Grrr!
The iPhone is SO NEAR to being perfect for me, it is just those few niggles that would make the difference.

Re; iPhone fixes...
Former BlackBerry user misses many of its options.
BUT 1st on my list (I must have missed it as I can't be the only one needing this feature) is: SPEED DIALING.
Apple showed me 3 steps to reach favorite listingss...I explained benefits of pushing one or two numbers...MUCH FASTER!!
Other comments were good--at least the ones I understood...lol

There is no elementary "use number" in sms section,
if someone sent me a sms with a phone number , to call that number i should remember it !!!!

MacWorld, really, how did you miss those two?

Sadly, we didn't have access to iPhone software 2.0 back in July 2007 when the article was written.

It is hard to believe that a company such as Apple, who spends so much time delivering great products, screws up on something as basic as e-mail. However, they have managed to do it. By not providing a method to delete multiple e-mails, Apple has introduced the most inferior e-mail client to date. Apple, please correct this most grevious oversight (To be honest, it is hard to beleive this is an oversight. If deliberate, it makes me wonder why it was left out).
