running windows xp on mac. is it safe?

how can I make sure it's safe???
I may run using parallels.... just want to make sure it's safe.
apples site says running windows on mac, I am open to same attacks as windows users. is this true?

I have Windows Vista partitioned (via BootCamp) on my hard drive. As the previous poster said, you are definetly open to the same attacks as regular Windows users. You just have to be careful. Personally, I have never had a problem. I tend to stay away from the internet period when i have to work in windows though, and when i do get on the internet, i try to keep it to reputable sites.
