Well, for those that don't like AT&T (me, myself, and I) the iPod Touch is a nice item to get rather than an iPhone. For everyone else, you might want to just get an iPhone.

....unless you happen to live in countries that will have to wait a long time for an iPhone...not that I am interested...Nano looks OK and the new ermmm Classic with 160GB /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
this 160gb REALLY should have an easy access to a digital camera, what a back up...

Hmmm. The iPod Touch runs Safari. Does this mean the iPod touch could run web-based apps? That would make it a lot more than a mere media player. Very cool, indeed!

I'm expecting that it won't get TOO sophisticated, so as not to cannibalize iPhone sales. I wonder if AT&T had anything to say about this...with the iPod Touch, a lot of users could get the iPod functionality they wanted without having to get the iPhone to get it. I'm really surprised about the Safari inclusion, but he's dead right about having to visit web pages to log in.

Even better for those of us in other countries where the iPhone is not available yet!

I'm sure Mama Bell isn't happy about this. I would it to take off people who didn't want to swich and wanted most of the rest of the items. The will lose these stranglers in my opnion.
