Synchronisation

I have to move between a mac at home and a PC at work.
On the PC I synchronise folders on the network and a flash data pen with Synchtoy. What should I use as an equivalent on the Mac so that I can guarantee that the files are fully synchronised when I plug the pen in?

Is there really nothing on the mac that I can use for a simple sync to and from a usb pen dirve?
