Activation - Do I need a computer?

Hi everyone,
I guess the title says it all... I'm about to move to the US and won't have a computer for a few days but I want to buy the iphone right away... Do I need a computer to log on to Itunes or can I just activate the Iphone at the AT&T shop??

Activation is handled through iTunes, so you will need a computer to get started.

Activation is done through iTunes and you need to have a US iTunes account too (with a credit card).
