Have to identify network every time

I'm probably missing something simple. Have old G4 Sawtooth with original Airport card and G4 Powerbook with g-series airport card, both connected wirelessly to new Verizon Fios router (actiontec). The old Sawtooth works well, but the Powerbook has started asking me to identify the network everytim I use it. It does this even if I don't shut down, but go back a few minutes later. Configurations look OK. When I re-identify network, works OK.
