iMac not fully connecting to wireless

My friend has an iMac that I've been helping him set up, and today he cannot connect to the internet. Checking the network settings I can see that there is no address for the router. Another iBook can fully connect, which has to mean that the problem is local with the iMac.
Any suggestions?
