Learn how to view HD trailers in Front Row (fast internet connection and large screen recommended). [more]

I'd like to see HD trailer on Apple TV. It's unbelievable that the Apple TV does lower-than-DVD quality.

Jedi beat me to it, but I was wondering if anyone has tried this hack on an AppleTV?
Now, if we could just figure out the (true) 5.1 surround thing...

If I could only get past the dreaded "Loading Trailers" I would try this. But first I want to be able load any friggin' trailer!

Hmm, I tried both methods and the quality still seems the same. Granted I didn't try it before I changed it but I do download the HD 720p qualities frequently and it didn't look like those.

when I copy/paste the command, all I get is audio and no pictures. I didn't test it before entering the code, though - I see nothing on TV episodes, either.
I have MacPro with 10.5. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Inputting this code into my terminal did not work for me, on either my G5 tower, or my MacBook Pro. (And yes, I ran Front Row just before trying).
The response from my terminal was something to the effect of "No such file or directory. Defaults have not been changed."
I recommend downloading the free "Front Row Trailers" software linked at the bottom of the article instead.

Didn't work for me either on a Mac Pro, 10.5.2

got this response:
Rep argument is not a dictionary
Defaults have not been changed.
