I have a wired(dont want wireless) router Mac-mini and PC and sometimes when I log on the mac says no connections. I reset the router and modem works fine. But, then for no reasons when I log PC off(in bedroom) the Mac-mini can't connect again.
Any help??
Also any suggestion on a more mac friendly router would be appreciative

Is there any chance you have DSL but haven't set up the router to do the authentication (PPPoE) yet, and your PC is still set to do the authentication?

Any chance the cable modem is actually a router, too? Please tell us the IP address of each computer before and after the problem starts (these should be local-only IP addresses - no one can connect to them except inside your local network).
