The Lock It Up article in November 2007 issue showed a burglar peeping through a window looking at an unlocked Power Mac with the password 123456 stuck on the front with a sticky note. The idea was to convey to the reader how stupid it is to be careless with passwords and security in a world full of Internet crime. You can imagine how stupid I felt when the sample password that was used in the picture was one that I used for one of my major accounts. Who could be so dumb? Well, it was me. Thanks MacWorld for enlightening me of the importance of having smart passwords.
