I bought a new Touch and love it but every time I sync it I get asked again if I want to continue to register it. I must have sent in the registration 4 times thinking that it would eventually disappear, but still get asked over and over when I first plug it in.
This is my 3rd iPod and I've never had this before. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
JohnVL

Surprised no one else has answered this. I got an iPod Touch for Xmas and also had the same problem. Seems there's some king of bug that prevents you from registering through iTunes (thus also keeping you from getting the free videos they offer). I found the only way to stop this was to click the "Never Register" button instead of continuing at the first registration screen. It quit bugging me after that, and I went to Apple's product registration page to actually register my Touch.

Since there's free support for 90 days I called in and asked a question about transferring music to my work computer (PC) from the Touch. But when I did so, they asked when I bought it as if they never got my registration--they actually entered the date by hand. It's good you also registered yours.

What free videos???

You didn't get the video offer when you tried to register through iTunes? That's where the whole process would break down for me. During the registration process it would take me to a final screen that offered to let me download four free videos (of their choosing, not mine) and it didn't matter whether I clicked "Get the Videos" or "No Thanks", I would always get an error saying that the iTunes store couldn't process my request. And then next time I went to sync, just like you, it would ask me if I wanted to register again. I know of several people who had the exact same problem and only one who actually registered successfully through iTunes and got the videos. No big deal, though, as the videos weren't that great (to me, anyway).
