Unfortunately, yes -- force feedback is broken in 10.4.x on Intel Macs.

I have a PowerMac running 10.4.11. I am trying to run Colin McRae Rally Mac. It will recognize the Logitech Momo wheel but I cannot configure the steering wheel buttons and pedals correctly. I called Logitech and they said that MacWorld had some software somewhere on their site and that is all they had to say. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!!!!!!!

I believe they're mistaken. We don't make hosting software downloads a habit, and we certainly don't offer drivers for hardware. Maybe they're confusing us with Apple's Web site, or with Macgamefiles.com.

Alternately, I'd recommend checking with Feral's tech support, as it's their game you're having the trouble with.

Has anyone tried with the logitech dual action? Also, Peter, with the MadCatz, does the game support the analog sticks or just the directional pad?
Thanks!

was looking into getting dirt 2, and noticed my local apple store sells both. although rally is £20 more from apple store, on amazon they are similar prices

tries a vs search on google but nothing seemed to answer my question.

opinions on which to get. have a mbp 13 2011

Colin McRae Rally Mac is about 5 years older it is focused on Rally events only compared to the more X Games nature of Dirt 2. Colin McRae Rally Mac also has been discontinued so once the stock of the game has run out it will no longer be available to buy.

You can find out more about Dirt 2 here - http://www.feralinte....com/game/dirt2
