Podcasts are great and iTunes really manages them properly.

Has anyone (else) had a problem where your subscriptions indicate new podcasts are available, but iTunes refuses to download them? I tried rebuilding my iTunes library from scratch, but that didn't help.

I've had specific problems with Onion video podcasts, where iTunes can't find the file to download because of a bad link.

I just had iTunes lose track of the iTunes Library again today.

I never get iTunes to maintain a stable set-up over a long period. It is amazingly frustrating and haphazardly designed for a Mac product.

The assumption is that you stick with one Mac, one ISP, one Hard Drive and one User Account forever.

Even if you do all of that iTunes will screw up somewhere anyway.

I've moved my iTunes library to a new Mac roughly every two years since iTunes came out, and have never had a problem. What do you mean that iTunes lost track of the library?

I followed your advice and moved my movies in iTunes to a hard drive to save space, and it works fine. But now, when I synchronize my iPad, iTunes says it cannot find the films to synchronize. What did I do wrong ?
