I have Boot Camp and Parallels installed on my MacBook, and they each use the same Boot Camp installation. Each time I start Parallels, it says it is going through the initialization. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks Cheetah.

Yes, I am talking about Parallels tools. During the startup of the VM, Parallels asks for my admin password and overlays a lock and the phrase "Do not click on the guest machine until Parallels Tools Initialization has completed". Once the overlay disappears I can properly use the VM.

Doing a little Googling for parallels initialization with boot camp partition, I found the MacNN Forums contains many users experiencing the same thing. Perhaps this is an application error or something we must get used to.

Hi
Sounds "spot on." I wasn't able to find anything at the Parallel site about it but maybe I just overlooked something.
