Hi guys! I'm just a new MAC user and I currently have a 15" Macbook Pro (2.2 Ghz) and I'm using an Airport Extreme Gigabit router. I am having problems connecting to the internet lately and when I check "Diagnostic" it says that my internet connection appears to be operating normally. Sometimes I can connect to the internet and sometimes I don't. My other PC laptops have no problems connecting to the network and internet and when I ping the IP address of my Macbook Pro using my PC laptops I can see it too.

Hope somebody has the same experience as mine and I would really appreciate your help.

Are you wireless or wired to the router?

Either wireless or wired to the router I get the same problem. I can ping my router but there are times when I can't connect to the internet. All of my PC that is conected to the router have no problems with internet connection. Hope you can help. Thanks!

I can't get the internet on my Mac. Everything was fine last night after downloading the updates. Today there is no internet. I don't know if there is a connection there!

I use ethernet not airport and no modem, so the suggestions so far don't help, though I have looked at my settings. I tried to restore my settings from timemachine but to no avail!

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
